      • History Center — Civil War/Military display, featuring articles, uniforms, pictures and artifacts of former and current residents of Pine Island that have served their country, from Civil War up to and including today.
    • December @ The History Center
    • The main floor will have a tree and other decorations with an old fashioned theme. On the second floor will be a display of antique clothing including some wedding gowns.

      • December 2 — "Old Fashioned Christmas", with servings of lefse and gingerbread from 9 to 12.
      • December 3rd — Open Sunday for the first time, from 1:00 to 3:30.
      • December 2nd - 20th — Christmas Boutique of new and gently used holiday items for sale, as well as Sesquicentennial items. Donations of new or gently used holiday items appreciated.
  • 2007
    • January
      • Chris Dietz, dressed as Dr. Hill, will present a program about early Pine Island medicine to the 3rd graders at Pine Island Elementary.
      • Medical artifacts and information will be on display at the History Center.

    • March
    • A program on local churches is planned to be held at the City Hall. The following presentations will be made:

      • St. Michaels Catholic Church - D. J. Collins
      • Grace Episcopal Church - Mike Saugen
      • St. Paul Lutheran Church - Mary Bollman
      • Cornerstone Baptist Church - Lyle Hinkel
      • Assembly of God - Dan Ashpole
      • United Methodist Church - Pat Mapel

      There will also be a display about Poplar Grove Church.
