- History Center — Civil War/Military display, featuring articles, uniforms, pictures and artifacts of
former and current residents of Pine Island that have served their country,
from Civil War up to and including today.
The main floor will have a tree and other decorations with an old fashioned theme. On the second floor will be a display of antique clothing including some wedding gowns.
- December 2 — "Old Fashioned Christmas", with servings of lefse and gingerbread from 9 to 12.
- December 3rd — Open Sunday for the first time, from 1:00 to 3:30.
- December 2nd - 20th — Christmas Boutique of new and gently used holiday items for sale, as well as Sesquicentennial items. Donations of new or gently used holiday items appreciated.
- Chris Dietz, dressed as Dr. Hill, will present a program about early Pine Island medicine to the
3rd graders at Pine Island Elementary.
- Medical artifacts and information will be on display at the History Center.
A program on local churches is planned to be held at the City Hall. The
following presentations will be made:
- St. Michaels Catholic Church - D. J. Collins
- Grace Episcopal Church - Mike Saugen
- St. Paul Lutheran Church - Mary Bollman
- Cornerstone Baptist Church - Lyle Hinkel
- Assembly of God - Dan Ashpole
- United Methodist Church - Pat Mapel
There will also be a display about Poplar Grove Church.
